Structure, Governance & Management

Barrow Citizens Advice is a company limited by guarantee, a member of national Citizens Advice and is governed by a board of volunteer Trustees. The board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organisation and has ultimate responsibility for the conduct of Barrow Citizens Advice and for ensuring that the charity satisfies its legal and contractual obligations.


Operational management of Barrow Citizens Advice is delegated to the Chief Executive Officer. Services are delivered by a committed team of paid workers and volunteers.
