Volunteering with a Citizens Advice is a great way to pick up skills, make friends and feel part of an enthusiastic team. Last year the Citizens Advice service helped 2.1 million people with 7.1 million problems. But it’s not just worthwhile, volunteering can also be fantastic fun and hugely rewarding.
Out of the 28,500 people who work for the service, 21,500 of them are volunteers and we wouldn’t be here for our clients without them. They take on a range of essential roles from giving advice, to fundraising, administration, publicity, campaigning and trusteeship.
