Barrow Citizens Advice believes volunteers add a huge amount of value to our organisation. From trustees to advisers, admin support workers and fundraisers, all volunteers fulfill vital functions to make sure the people of Barrow borough receive the best possible service from us. We believe, and volunteers old and new tell us, that volunteers also gain from the experience. Training is of the highest standard, with support from professional paid workers available at all times.
The level of advice we can provide depends on the commitment of our volunteer team so we are always looking for people who want to join our team.
If you want to make a real difference to peoples’ lives and are able to give 6 hours per week of your time, then Barrow Citizens Advice can offer you an interesting, challenging, supportive volunteering experience.
