Barrow-in-Furness Citizens Advice Bureau is an independent charity funded by Barrow
Borough Council, Cumbria County Council, The Legal Aid Board and charitable
donations.
The service is FREE, CONFIDENTIAL, IMPARTIAL AND
INDEPENDENT
Our advisers are a mix of paid and voluntary staff who are trained and supervised at all times.
MONDAY to THURSDAY 10.00am to 3.30pm
FRIDAY 10.00am to 3.00pm
for both telephone and personal callers.

Our Aims
Our aims are; to ensure that individuals do not
suffer through lack of knowledge of their rights and responsibilities or through
the services available to them or through an inability to express their needs
effectively.
Also equally to exercise responsible influence over the
development of social policy both locally and nationally.
